Financial Policy

Our goal is to provide the highest quality of dental care possible and to have clear communication of our financial policy with our patients. We have the most qualified and knowledgeable staff to answer your dental questions.

All accounts are due and payable at the time of service. If a procedure requires multiple appointments, payment is required in full at the first appointment unless other arrangements have been made.

Patients with Insurance:
We are an in-network provider therefore we make every effort to estimate the portion of your total cost. We submit all claims on your behalf as a courtesy. We will wait up to 60-days for your insurance carrier to pay there portion. If
we have not received payment from your insurance carrier, you will then be billed and must contact your insurance company. All patients are required to pay for the estimated non-covered portion, co-pays, and deductible at the time of service. Please keep in mind that Dr. Pomerantz is a Specialist in Prosthodontics and therefore there are procedures that may not be covered by traditional Insurances.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

We feel that our patient’s time is valuable. When your appointment is made, a room is reserved, your records are prepared, and special instruments are readied for your visit. Except for emergency treatment for another patient, you can expect us to be prompt. We, of course, would appreciate the same courtesy from you. Last minute cancellations and missed appointments result in a significant loss to our practice.

Therefore, we ask that if you must change or cancel an appointment please give us at least 24 hours notice. This courtesy makes it possible to give your reserved room to another patient who may need it. There is a $100.00 (one hundred dollar charge) for not showing up or cancelling last minute for any scheduled appointments. Repeated cancellations or missed appointments’ will result in loss of future appointment privileges. By signing this form you acknowledge that you read it and understand this policy.

We appreciate and thank you for your understanding and continuing to allow us to serve your dental health.
